Hi! And welcome to my wildlife photography website! My name is Jonathan M. Aguilar and I am a passionate wildlife photographer based out of South Florida, dedicated to capturing the beauty and diversity of nature.

My Journey

My love for wildlife began at a very young age, growing up around dogs, cats, horses, and other wildlife. I would spend countless hours outside looking for snakes, lizards, birds, basically anything that moved! I started taking photos when I was 14, wanting to share anything and everything I saw which now has transformed into a lifelong passion. I work full-time as a Zoologist but in my spare time, I’m out looking for wildlife with a camera in hand.

My mission

Through my lens, I strive to showcase the incredible diversity and complexity of nature. My mission is to create images that inspire a deeper fascination and appreciation for the natural world and the urgent need for its conservation. Each photograph tells a story, captures a moment, and highlights the intricate relationships within ecosystems.

Wildlife photography requires patience, perseverance, and an understanding of animal behavior. It takes hours, days, even weeks to get the perfect moments. Through my work, I observe animals in their natural environments without causing disturbance. This respect for wildlife is central to my approach.
